SPECTRUM
I would like to begin this article by asking you to forget everything that you think you know. Take a deep breath, and imagine that this life is a canvas. Every individual has their own canvas, and we are all at liberty to paint on our own colours. So, before you continue reading, kindly leave any judgement before this full stop.
In science, everything came from the big bang, from one significant event, that is from what we all came into being, meaning we are all one thing, but we have been chemically separated and all grew into different species and beings of matter. In spirituality, there is a reoccurring universal law The Law of divine oneness. What a coincidence, spirituality and science seem to be following the same sort of pattern….
Oh, you didn’t know? Now you know.
For science lovers, is it not possible that spirituality is a form of chemistry the world is yet to understand?
For my spiritual readers, whose to say science won't one day prove that spirituality is the cure of the world?
The more I know, the more I want to know.
The problem we face today is that most of us, we think being “woke” is a trend when it's actually a state of being. Lets quickly dive into that. Is being “woke” the same as being informed…. or is it simply being aware that there are far greater marvels than you and I, and that there will always be many things that we may not know, but must be open enough to accept as a possibility???
I write this living in the superficiality of this world.
The superficiality of the world… somewhat entertaining, but leaving my soul entirely parched.
As the human race, we care far too much about ourselves, and the very trivial things that keep us distracted. So, How woke are you claiming to be?
Do you ever think about the possibility of human extinction from ecological collapse? Do you ever think about how misinformed and indoctrinated you are from the media? Coronavirus Conspiracies — where do I even start? What kind of spiritual artefacts could be in the Vatican vaults? The Aquatic ape theory, do you know anything about that? Do you ever think about why only 5 per cent of the world's seas have been explored? Yet we send out spaceships to explore whole other planets??? Is it possible that popular culture is based on eugenics? Do you ever think about all places that could exist that haven’t been discovered yet? Do you ever wonder if artificial intelligence may one day pose as a replacement for nature? Your food is already genetically modified… Do you ever think about what the agenda of societal structure is? Apparently, human cloning has already been possible for seven years now. Did you read about that? Is the golden ratio natures chemical equation for perfection in mathematical terminology? Why is nature not considered as a supernatural force?
Late at night, what is it that you think about?
Many times I want to share the cosmic, controversial and crazy things that swarm my spectrum of thinking. Many times I keep to my silence, many times I simply reciprocate the basic level of human connection that the world deems appropriate.
But you talk to me about the Kardashians. You talk to me about the latest Netflix series. You talk to me about how slow the wi-fi is. I reciprocate, because how can I expect you to think like me — in a society that would rather have you not thinking at all.
How basic and trivial we have all decided to be.
We choose to live on such a tiny spectrum. Every facet of life, every possible realm, every place travelled to, every culture explored, every plant studied is like a brushstroke in a masterpiece. The more we search for knowledge, the more the canvas grows. Very little of our lives we spend conversing in things of value, things that matter.
Are we programmed to live without purpose and not explore every colour on our canvas? Chew on that bitter sentiment for a moment. How can you decide on how much you actually know, when you don’t know how much there is to know?
